Bath Time!

It's been sometime I have not posted something about the kids.  Here's a video I took yesterday while my boy was having his bath....

And btw, he's going to be 2 this coming 17th July and now he's learning speech in full force.. meaning I had to repeat myself a thousand times on his questions as he keeps repeating the same questions over and over again.... :P 

Good Morning Everyone!!

We sleep quite early here in Thailand.  Around 8.30pm (SG 9.30) and we wake up normally between 6am to 7am.

The morning air is extremely refreshing, average temperature is around 18 degrees celsius.  My wife normally wakes up a bit early to go Gam Lang Kai (exercise for Thai).  Her new routine involves a gigantic Hula Hoop.. hehe.. Yesterday morning the kids woke up early and we got to have some fun with her.

Cheeky Boy and Sporty Gal

None other then my son.  He's 11 months now.  He can stand on his own (can't walk though) and can crawl super fast.  He also has 2 little teeth and knows how to defend himself from his sister by shoving her away whenever she comes for a hug that he does not want :P

He can makes sounds now... basically is dadadadadadada... which do sounds like Hit!hit!hit!(打打打） in Chinese.  And while chanting this slogan, he normally is really whacking on something.  The picture in this post shows my boy banging and whacking on my keyboard while we were doing a video conference.  He is blur because he is aggressively banging away.. :S

Boy is cheeky also. He likes to play sneak attacks (like me).  Wife says every morning he will be the first to wake up and crawl towards where Jie Jie sleeps and disturb her by burrowing his head into her or chewing on her fingers or digits... Once girl woke up he would quickly crawls away and hides in a corner and smile.  If Jie jie goes back to sleeps again, he would repeat until my girl wakes up and bear hugs him.. :D

Ah girl also getting more sporty.  She learnt how to cycle by herself and she is getting good at it.  She likes to run with the neighbouring kids and play chase.  Which I think its great.  SG kids don't do that anymore.. One thing I dislike is the way she likes to climbs the chairs and tables in the house.  Wife even told me she once caught her trying to climb over our house's fence... :S  She still adores her little brother but I think they will start to fight soon.  Most likely is the boy will bully her sister hehehehe....

Posted this some time ago in Facebook but seems like tons of my friends missed it.  (My FB wall's privacy has been beefed up).  So here we go.. 

The young girl in the video is Pin Kam (neighbour's daughter).  And I sound wierd in that video... :P

Extreme Cuteness :D

This came from a roll of Medium Format Provia 100F I shot in April.  There are only 2 shots I took in Thailand in the roll and recently I completed the roll when I went to the Pinnacle Duxton.

One shot is a lanscape shot of a lake we went and the 2nd shot is this one below.

It was a very hazy day and we were at this little retreat.  I was scouting around for a scenic view but due to the hazy weather, I gave up in less then 5 mins.  I was going to keep my camera when I turned around and saw my mom carrying my boy with an umbrella, walking towards me.  Looking carefully, I then realise my boy is actually holding the umbrella with both his hands and happily smiling away.  Shielding him and his grandma gleefully.  I quickly asked my mum to stop where she is and took one shot.  The exposure was spot on and this shot is the favourite of the 12 I have took in this roll.

Need to bring my Hassy to Thailand more often....
